What We Are Doing for the Reopening of St. Therese

CONTROL:

1. Signage is posted: COVID-19 signs and symptoms, what to do if symptomatic, and who/how to contact-public health & covid-19 supervisor

2. Screening of Staff, Volunteers, and Parishioners: In order to successfully pass screening, a person must be able to answer “No” to each of these 6 questions. A “Yes” to even one question is a failed screening.

In the last 14 days, have you:

1. Traveled internationally?
2. Been exposed to a person with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 without the correct PPE?
3. Had a temperature at least 100.0°F?
4. Had new or increased shortness of breath or difficulty breathing?
5. Had a new cough?
6. Had at least two of the following symptoms together:

• Chills
• Muscle pain
• Headache
• Sore throat
• New loss of taste or smell

MITIGATION:

1. Attendees sign-up on Sign-up Genius, registration is checked at the entrance

2. Social distancing is managed in church and parking lot, marking 6 feet and pews to be used, where to stand

3. Public Mass and Livestream is at 11:30 a.m.

4. Masks/face coverings are universally required and provided to all who do not have them

5. Hand sanitizer is at every entrance

6. Cleaning takes place on high touch areas between Masses and thoroughly after the 11:30 a.m. Mass

7. One door is used for the entrance,

8. The Pastor / celebrant is at least 12 feet from others when not wearing a mask.

9. Gloves are used by Ministers as required for liturgical use

10. Signage is highly visible: hygiene, sanitation and cleaning procedure, following CDC guidelines.

11. A professional-grade fan is used for greater ventilation

12. Restrooms are for 2-person occupancy only at all times with floor markers at 6 feet for the line outside

13. There is no sign of peace, no gift procession, no community singing during mass, and communion distribution following mass
