ST. IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA

Last week, Father and parish leadership published a letter about the twin crises that are facing our nation and community. The letter had three short-term projects that need your support:

• Work with Stewardship to improve the contact data of parishioners. This may include a mailing party or data input. Contact me at jvrussell85@gamil.com if you’re interested.
• Respond to needs of those most adversely affected by the pandemic. For help with rent or utilities, contact Bob Mackin with St Vincent de Paul at rmackinatty@yahoo.com. If you have social, emotional or social justice needs, contact Rose Hesselbrock at rose.hesselbrock@gmail.com or Trisha Tinsley at citizencoach@gmail.com.
• Support Father in a smooth transition to reopening the Church for mass.  Contact Nicole St. Hilaire at nicoles@st-therese.cc to volunteer to be an usher or Diane Figaro at paa@st-therese.cc fir safety concerns.

We also need to be generous with our financial resources:

• Give to the St Vincent de Paul Society by going to our website at st-therese.cc.  Scroll down to the St Vincent de Paul button near the bottom of the home page. If you prefer to write checks, please send them to Sr. Kathleen -SVdP , 3514 E. Marion St. , Seattle, WA 98122. The St. Therese conference has been overwhelmed by requests in the St Edwards area, which our conference is now serving. Please be generous!

• Finally, you can make a contribution online at st-therese.org and clicking on the “Donate Now” button or use the Push-Pay app on your phone. If you are giving through automatic transfers, please go onto your phone and download the Push-Pay app. When you get to “search for your church” enter “saint therese.” Be sure to send a note to Diane Figaro at paa@st-therese.cc so she can discontinue your automatic transfer through our current agent. Finally, join the Social Justice Commission! The Commission has but three members. It needs at least five more. If there was ever a moment that St Therese needs a Social Justice Commission it is now! If you want to work for justice, email Trisha Tinsley at citizencoach@gmail.com.
