Given all the painful news about climate change, we invite you to an event that will leave you feeling inspired and hopeful. 

Next Saturday May 9, the Climate Justice Committee at St. Joseph Parish is sponsoring The Year To Save The Earth, presented by Jim Scott, a former member of the Paul Winter Consort and composer of the Gaia / Earth Mass. Jim will perform his powerful earth-based songs, accompanied by stunningly beautiful images. This will be a fundraiser for either a local hunger organization or for saving a forest, plus of course your attendance is supporting an artist. Be with other people who care about Spirit and the Earth for a relaxed, connected evening.

Hosted at St. Patrick Church, 815 E. Edgar St., 98102 the event starts at 4 pm and will probably end at 7 pm. Snacks will be available: donation requested but not required. Event tickets are $20 by donation; feel free to also pay less or more according to your means.
