Catholic Social Teaching 101: Rerum Novarum: On workers rights and systems of government

Do you ever watch the news and wonder, has the world lost its moral compass? Or think to yourself how is that Christian values? Do you want to be more informed about what the church teaches about social issues? Then you might want to attend Catholic Social Teaching 101. In this series, we will explore the biblical roots and the principles found in Catholic Social Teaching. We will also take a deep dive into the church documents themselves to see how these teachings can be applied to the issues that face our world today. The class structure is a combination of lecture, videos, documents and small group conversation on how to put these teachings into practice in real life situations around workers right, peace & war, poverty, and immigrants rights.
